a rainy day in central park

although the forecast called for pouring rain all day in new york city on saturday, i (laura) found some awesome friends that were willing to bare the wet and cold with me! i love going to school close to the city because it’s the perfect escape from a slow weekend on campus.  i’ve been a bunch of times so far this year– check out day trip #1 and #2.

i loved seeing central park almost empty.  i guess all those tourists did not want to get as soaked as we did walking around. i loved it, it felt like we had the whole park to ourselves. naturally, i found myself at my favorite place in the whole city, bethesda terrace and fountain, and had to take some pictures.

my look for the day included topshop jeans, a forever 21 coat (sold out– similar here), zara platform sneakers (sold out– similar here), an asos sweater (here— currently out of stock but may come back in stock, that’s how i finally got my mine!), and a madewell bag.

i’m always taken back by how beautiful it is under the bridge.

it’s even more beautiful when you basically have it all to yourself 🙂
